THINGS TO SEE & DO in MOSCOW

TOP ATTRACTIONS

The walled fortress that is the Kremlin should be top of anyone’s list to Moscow. Highlights include several cathedrals - Assumption Cathedral (Uspensky Sobor),
Annunciation Cathedral (Blagoveshchensky Sobor) and
the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael (Archangelsky Sobor) and also the Armoury Museum and Diamond Fund.

Red Square (Krasnaya Ploshchadis) is next on the list, followed by the colourful onion-shaped domes of St Basil's Cathedral (Pokrovsky Sobor). Then pay your respects at Lenin's Mausoleum.

If it’s cold outside, head to some of Moscow’s best museums, including the State Historical Museum, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, the Tretyakov Gallery and the Moscow City Museum.

Also, try and use the Moscow metro system at least once. It’s the busiest, largest in the world - and one of the most impressive.
